Dust regularly with a soft cloth to prevent scratching from dirt and debris & blot spills immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. For sealing, We recommend FILA Surface Care Solutions Water Based Matte Finish Penetrating Stone Enhancer. It will make the marble a bit darker and the colors show more so we recommend testing it on a small, inconspicuous spot before treating the whole piece so you have an idea of the final color. This sealer is the best protection against dirt, water, and oil stains we have found.
We recommend avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading and discoloration. Marble can absorb heat from direct sunlight, and thermal stress can potentially cause the marble to crack.
Yes, the Sofita Marble Coffee Table is suitable for outdoor use. To ensure its longevity, we recommend applying an outdoor stone sealant like the FILA Water Based Stone Enhancer. This protects against dirt, water, and oil stains. Note that the sealant may darken the marble slightly, so test it on a small spot first. Also, avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to prevent potential thermal stress and cracking. Simply cover the table when not in use.
