Description

Our best selling Sofita Marble Coffee Table is now available in a low to the ground, 10" high version for more versatility. It can be placed alongside the 15" height version for a tiered look, or used on its own for a wabi-sabi feel.

The Sofita Marble, found in Italy and Turkey, will vary in appearance displaying minimal veining. This statement piece is an elegant and timeless addition to any space and the showstopper your guests will be sure to notice.

Our marble pieces vary by nature - As these pieces are not factory made, variations are to be expected and are what make each piece unique. While the table is given texture, the edges are buffed out and remain safe for families.

Due to the nature of hand chipping the soft stone, some pieces may continue to flake off upon delivery shaken loose from its transport journey. This is safe and to be expected.

Color Disclaimer: The cuts of stone can vary from a cool white to a warm white with a pink undertone. 

Care

Wipe down the surface using a soft cloth and a mild soap (like dish detergent) and water. Make sure to avoid using vinegar, Windex or bleach.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: We charge $195 per furniture order, which includes white glove delivery. This fee may increase if multiple shipments are required, if the order's weight significantly increases, or if it includes any of our more delicate marble pieces. For smaller items, such as side tables, there is a $50 fee for curbside delivery. Accessories are shipped at no additional charge.

Returns: Furniture returns will be issued a refund less original shipping and handling charges in addition to a restocking fee from the original product price. Return requests will be accepted within 30 days of the delivery.

How can I care for the marble?

Dust regularly with a soft cloth to prevent scratching from dirt and debris & blot spills immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. For sealing, We recommend FILA Surface Care Solutions Water Based Matte Finish Penetrating Stone Enhancer. It will make the marble a bit darker and the colors show more so we recommend testing it on a small, inconspicuous spot before treating the whole piece so you have an idea of the final color. This sealer is the best protection against dirt, water, and oil stains we have found.

Will direct sunlight damage/fade this piece?

We recommend avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading and discoloration. Marble can absorb heat from direct sunlight, and thermal stress can potentially cause the marble to crack.

Can I use this table outside?

Yes, the Sofita Marble Coffee Table is suitable for outdoor use. To ensure its longevity, we recommend applying an outdoor stone sealant like the FILA Water Based Stone Enhancer. This protects against dirt, water, and oil stains. Note that the sealant may darken the marble slightly, so test it on a small spot first. Also, avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to prevent potential thermal stress and cracking. Simply cover the table when not in use.

Will the appearance of the Sofita Marble Coffee Table vary from the product images?

Yes, the Sofita Marble Coffee Table is made from natural Sofita Marble found in Italy and Turkey, so variations in appearance, including minimal veining, are to be expected, making each table unique.

Is this table delivered fully assembled?

The table top and the base of the Sofita Marble Coffee Table are not attached and shipped in seprate pieces. The White Glove Delivery team will assemble your table during delivery. The top is designed to be placed on the base, and its weight is substantial enough to be stable.

Can the chipped, living edge of the Sofita Marble Coffee Table pose any safety concerns?

No, despite the chipped, living edge, the edges of the Sofita Marble Coffee Table are buffed out to ensure safety.

    The coffee table is absolutely stunning! And as you can see, I’m having to train my little gray tabby, Betsy, not to turn it into her new favorite spot. It is extremely heavy, so make sure you ask the delivery team to place it exactly where you want it (a tip I saw on another review - thank you!). The delivery team told me that having felt on hand to place under the table would be helpful, in the event you ever want to move it and cannot lift or push the table on your own. 10 stars - my amateur photos could never fully capture how beautiful this table is!

    Wonderful Table!

    I love the Sofita Marble Coffee Table. It adds great texture and warmth to my family room. I especially like the color and, of course, the edges. My cats also love it; they rub themselves against the edges and spend a lot of time sitting on and under it. It is not a large table, so if you need something large you'll want to check the dimensions. But for my purposes the size is just right, and I like it even more than I thought I would.
