The Shinto Counter was designed as an ode to the traditional Japanese Torii Gate found at the entrances of Shinto shrines. The chair invites you to pause, find peace in the moment and come together with friends and family around the dining area.

A quarter inch thick leather wraps a hand-crafted frame. Enjoy the piece as its leather seat patinas with age and molds to the wood frame over time, just like the vintage pieces you love.

The thick leather, along with the handcrafted frame and a curved backrest, offer exceptional comfort and an eye-catching sense of style.

Overall: 18.5” W x 19" D x 38" H

Frequently Asked Questions

To care for the leather on the Shinto Counter Stool, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or spills. Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaners, as these may damage the leather. If you wish to apply a sealant to the leather we recommend using Leather Hero, as it has been tested and recommended by our team for preserving the natural state of the leather while providing protection and developing a unique patina over time.

We recommend avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading and discoloration. As most of our pieces use solid wood, prolonged exposure can cause the wood to dry out.

    incredible find

These stools are a work of art - hands down more elegant and higher quality than anything else out there! Incredible design and attention to detail. You won't find this level of craftsmanship often.

    Love these!

Purchased two of these. I was holding off since the price is on the higher end, but so is the quality, look, and feel! Everyone loves and compliments them - the design is simple yet classy. They are comfy, solid and easy to clean/maintain. I've had them for a few months already and I'm so happy with the purchase. Worth absolutely EVERY penny!
